Violinist Annie Pullar is a recent graduate of the Royal Welsh College (RWCMD). During her final year she began playing a viola loaned from the College. “I quickly realised I had really fallen in love with the instrument, and now want to return to college to undertake a Masters; but I can’t afford a second instrument.” Annie led the second violins of the RWCMD Chamber Orchestra and now freelances as a violinist.
Lucy Gould writes: “I was Annie’s teacher. She is innately musical and to hear she is after a viola comes as no surprise. I remember a performance by her string quartet in which she was playing viola. Not having known she could play the viola I was struck with how the instrument suited her. I think she could do very well with a good instrument.”
Amazingly Cherubim founding supporter, Nigel Brodrick-Barker, has just bought a viola at auction and intends to loan it to Annie forthwith!
