Winner of the Muramatsu ‘Deborah Steer’ Platinum Flute

Alexia is a Romanian student at the Royal Academy of Music. Having studied at the Dinu Lipatti National College of Arts in Bucharest, she is currently in England gaining a B.Mus and improving her English. She is also a member of the Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra. Alexia says “This platinum flute is such a blessing for me, because it gives me the certainty of continuing my studies at the Academy, developing my skills further and the possibility of expressing all my knowledge and emotions through music! I shall forever be grateful for the loan of this instrument as it will improve my playing and set me on the path to a professional career!”
