Cherubim Chamber Strings
Our distinguished patron Trevor Pinnock CBE conducts Cherubim Chamber Strings in a programme including Haydn’s Cello Concerto in C given by Vashti Hunter, our very first cello awardee, who performed in our Tisbury Music Café series in 2007. Now Cello Professor at Musik Hoch-schüle, Wien, Vashti also plays a duet with Ivàn Carillo, the current awardee of the ‘Rothermere’ cello originally bought for her. The concert includes the Bach Double Violin Concerto with Nirvana Che-Lai & Emily Li and The Capriol Suite by Peter Warlock.
Trevor has graciously performed four times for the Trust over the last decade, and now returns for the first time as conductor. The concert will be graced by the Lord Lieutenant of Wiltshire, Mrs Sarah Rose Troughton.
