🎶 Casey-Joan Whyte performs with Nigel Kennedy 🎻

We’re delighted to celebrate Cherubim Awardee Casey-Joan Whyte, whose musical journey continues to shine brightly!

Just two weeks ago, Casey performed alongside the legendary Nigel Kennedy at Sheffield’s Crucible Theatre — an unforgettable evening of music and artistry. The following weekend, she wowed audiences at Shrewsbury Django Fest, performing with her trio on Friday before joining Martin Taylor and Robin Nolan for a few tunes during their headline set.

A passionate violinist with an inspiring blend of classical and jazz influences, Casey has performed with eminent musicians including Tim Kliphuis, Phil Robson, Tom Cawley, and Matt Holborn, and taken part in masterclasses with Thomas Gould, Gyorgy Pauk, Callum Smart, Gwendolyn Masin, and Gabor Takacs-Nagy.

Currently a member of the National Youth Jazz Collective and a former member of the National Children’s Orchestra, Casey aspires to a professional career in classical, jazz, and composition.

We’re proud to support her with the Richard Weichold “Richard Barker” violin bow, on loan from Cherubim Trust— an instrument that will continue to support her growth and artistry.

✨ Bravo, Casey! Your dedication and talent are an inspiration to us all.
