Cherubim Music Trust is served by a Board of Trustees, which oversees the governance of the Trust. In addition, trustees play a crucial role in shaping the future of the Trust, ensuring it achieves its charitable objectives of supporting our young musicians of the future.
Our trustees have a broad range of professional experience, including music performance, event management, publicity, administration and finance.

Richard Heason
Richard is CEO of the Music Summer School & Festival. He has been Director of St John’s Smith Square, Executive & Artistic Director of the London Festival of Baroque Music; Artistic Director & CEO of Blackheath Halls; and founding Community /Education Officer of the BBC Symphony Orchestra.

Ombudsman
Deborah Steer
A trustee since Cherubim’s initiation in 2001, Deborah is the Trust’s Ombudsman, and before retirement was a senior nurse in the NHS. Any stakeholder wishing to raise a concern can do so confidentially by contacting Deborah at ombudsman@cherubimtrust.org
