Cherubim Music Trust Summer Concert at Stone House, Lewisham
Cherubim Music Trust was delighted to welcome a full audience to its Summer Concert at Stone House, Lewisham, celebrating the achievements of exceptional young musicians and raising vital funds for the Trust’s instrument loan programme.
On one of the hottest evenings of the year, a full audience gathered at the beautiful Stone House in Lewisham for a special summer concert in support of Cherubim Music Trust.
The programme brought together works by Bach, Brahms, Albéniz and Leo Geyer, performed by an exceptional group of young artists.

The evening opened with Bach’s Double Violin Concerto, performed by Cherubim awardees Nirvana Che-Lai and Emily Li alongside Sebastian Johns. Marina Shevlin and Katya Grabova then gave a compelling performance of Brahms’ Clarinet Sonata, while Katya also performed dazzling selections from Albéniz’s Iberia. The concert concluded with a deeply moving performance of Leo Geyer’s Homage to Jakub Segar by Nirvana Che-Lai.
Nirvana and Emily performed on violins generously loaned through Cherubim Music Trust, while Marina performed on a Cherubim clarinet, illustrating the Trust’s mission to place exceptional instruments in the hands of talented young musicians.

We are grateful to everyone who joined us for this wonderful evening and for supporting Cherubim Music Trust’s work. Events such as these help us continue providing life-changing instrument loans to the next generation of outstanding musicians.
Our sincere thanks also go to Stone House for providing such a beautiful and welcoming setting, and to all of the performers whose artistry made the evening such a memorable occasion.
