We welcome Congling Wu a violinist and teacher with an ambition to play professionally in chamber groups and/ or orchestral ensembles. A graduate of Trinity Laban with a 1st class honours in Violin Performance in 2024 Congling is planning to audition for postgraduate studies in the coming years,
“I greatly enjoyed my time studying and working with other excellent young musicians. My favourite projects have been working on the Beethoven Opus 18 String Quartets with my college quartet, playing the Max Richter Four Seasons and learning a Max O Connor Caprice for my final recital.”
Congling has represented Trinity Laban in the 2023 final of the Cavatina Intercollegiate Chamber Music competition, was resident with the Hans Keller Forum (22-23) in Cambridge, performed with the Trinity Laban Symphony Orchestra and won the John Thompson String Ensemble Prize in 2022 with the Hirvi Quartet who performed at Wigmore Hall, Queen’s House, Painted Hall and Freemason’s Hall in London.
