Behind every instrument in the Cherubim Collection lies an act of generosity.
Rebecca Perrett is the lender of the Apparut violin. Now based in Madrid, where she works as a music teacher, Rebecca began searching for organisations in Spain that loan instruments to young musicians. To her surprise, she found that no such charities existed.
When she discovered Cherubim, she immediately recognised the uniqueness and value of its work: ensuring that exceptional instruments are not kept in cases, but placed in the hands of gifted young players.
Through Rebecca’s generosity, the Apparut violin continues to be played, heard, and appreciated — supporting the development of the next generation of musicians and enriching audiences in turn.
